Oregon ConSim Games Mission Statement

Our mission is to produce enjoyable board games by accurately modeling exciting events from military history. Our focus is on placing players in the same command positions that their historical counterparts were in, facing the same options, dilemmas, and unknowns as the historical leaders did. Oregon ConSim Games strives for the highest standard of historical accuracy. Our games are thoroughly and painstakingly researched from a wide range of international (re)sources.

Oregon ConSim Games recognizes that simplistic abstractions make poor historical models, while overly complex simulations tend to be difficult to enjoy. We believe it is possible to design games that are both historically accurate and fun, that it is possible to create a deeply absorbing game that affords players a uniquely compelling perspective on significant events in military history.
