An Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) compatible scenario pack which includes 8 scenarios, 2 maps, and a counter-sheet consisting of 208 counters depicting action in the Hurtgen Forrest and Brecourt Manor. The scenarios are centered around battles by the 101st Airborne division and the 83rd infantry division.
The Brecourt Manor map plays the scenario "So full of Fire" which was depicted in the Band of Brothers book and series. Lt. Winters gathering a scratch group to attack a gun battery of 4 105mm howitzers.
HURTGEN SURPRISE/101st AIRBORNE AT BRECOURT MANOR COMBO PACK brings the ASLComp gamer to the dark, foreboding region known as the Hurtgenwald, and the village of Strass and its outskirts. There, German troops surprised men and tanks of the 83rd Division in a brutal fight to the finish.
In addition to a brand new Hurtgen Forest map you also receive a map of Brecourt Manor, used to recreate the battle there by the 101st Airborne.
The set consists of two historical maps and six scenarios.
