Margaret is best known as the author of many novels in a career spanning two decades. She is one of the original creators of the Dragonlance game world and has written numerous novels and short stories set in the world of Krynn. Margaret has recently completed the Dragonvarld trilogy for TOR books with Volume Three, Master of Dragons (November 2005). She has begun work on the Dark Chronicles trilogy of Dragonlance novels with long-time co-author Tracy Hickman.
Margaret Weis Productions, Ltd. is a publishing company based in southeast Wisconsin, specializing in games of all types. Margaret also heads up Sovereign Press, Inc., publisher of the Dragonlance roleplaying gameline.
Margaret lives in a converted barn in southeast Wisconsin with four dogs - Sasha, a black lab, and Tess and Max, border collies and three cats, Nicolai Mouseslayer, Motley Tatters, and Shiva, Destroyer of Nations.
