Cold Steel Reign

Cold Steel Reign is a Wild Western Fantasy RPG set into an alternate history/reality. In the story setting of the game, the world has been plunged into a dark ages by a comet strike that happens at the height of the Civil War. The point at which most games pick up, it is two hundred years later and the world is not only drastically changed, but still stuck at about the same level of advancement. This is a game that allows you to explore a dark and decaying setting of the Wild West as it never was.

Cold Steel Reign is the first release by Mad Hermit Games of its Fatalist Game System. The Fatalist System is an advanced roleplaying game rules set which is heavily character centered and very mutable. The system is fluid and easy to handle, allowing for very smooth roleplaying and combat situations that are deadly and quick (as any game system using firearms should be). The Fatalist System carries features simply not found in other game systems, and allows for a more complete presentation of the story settings, scenes, and character actions.
