A Young, shirtless man walked confidently out onto the stage of the Star Theatre. Sweat gleamed off the curves of his muscles.
"Tonight I will dazzle you with my daring deeds of danger," he said, flames erupting in a circle around him. "I will ignite you with intrigue." He raised his arms and tumbled through the air, the fames dancing next to him. "I will fascinate you with my flaming feats of fantasy!" He raised his arms, the flames seeming to engulf his body. The audience gasped, and the entire theatre went dark as the flames extinguished.
A single spotlight snapped on, highlighting the unsinged and unharmed young man. "My name is Carlos Vasquez, and I will make love to this stage."
Backstage, Cassandra rolled her eyes and glared at Colette, who shrugged. "There are more and more young women in this city these days, and we needed to sell tickets. Deal with it" |
