In April there was a meeting at RACKHAM's headquarters to define what Cadwallon should be regarding the evolution of miniatures games and role playing games. It was soon decided that Cadwallon would not be a D20 extension or an OGL variation; but in fact a role playing game with its own innovative set of rules because RACKHAM owed it to the fans of Aarklash. The game was announced, and then postponed, due to the issue of Confrontation 3 and Dogs of War.
Three years have past since this meeting, and as you read these lines the 352 color pages of Cadwallon and the first tiles for any miniatures tactical games are available in all the good the stores. We launch this event with an initiation scenario which will allow everyone to become familiar with the rules of Cadwallon.
While waiting for the issue of the Game Masters Handbook, Secret, you can test, in between two sessions of Cadwallon, the new Hybrid game mode offered in Cry Havoc using the Reversible Gaming Tiles.
During that time, at the Studio, AT-43 and Rag'Narok 2 are being tested and the game designers are working on new board games. You haven't finished playing with miniatures from the universe of RACKHAM.
