Each Mighty Armies contains a complete army of 40-50 Super-Size 15mm miniatures, rulebook, dice and measuring aid - in fact, everything you need to begin wargmaing in one easy to use package!
Mighty Armies is a fast to learn game of great tactical depth. You will be playing within ten minutes of reading the rules and your first game will take less than half an hour - but Mighty Armies will take many months to truly master.
Each Mighty Armies box set contains a complete army but it is also upgradeable with forthcoming blister packs to give you even more tactical options.
The Wild Elves army contains a Wild Elf Lord, a Standard Bearer, 8 Forest Horsemen, 18 Archers, and 20 Spearmen, ready to defend their woodland home from invaders.
Defenders of the untamed wilderness, Wild Elves are masters of both steppe and forest, and will stop at nothing to rid their homelands of invaders.
The Wild Elf host is characterised by Archers - rows upon rows of Archers, all of which are far superior shorts than their peers in any other race. A charge towards an elven army will soon be stopped short by a hail of fire. However, the Wild Elves have the ability to deal knock out punches of their own. Their Lords are well-versed in both arms and magic, while fast-moving spearmen form solid wedges that are extremely difficult to break. Harrying the sides of an enemy will be the mobile Elf Cavalry, horsemen adept at lance and bow, constantly keeping foes off-balance.
Larger Wild Elf Hosts are commonly seen with highly decorated Chariots that are capable of breaking through any hastily mounted resistance. When the homes of the Elves are truly threatened, however, they will call upon the raw elemental force of their Treemen, natural allies who can sweep hundreds of enemy warriors out of their lands. |
