An expectant hush falls over the stadium as the players file out onto the pitch. The two teams of muscular, blood-thirsty, half-insane warriors, kitted out in cruelly spiked armour, takes their places on the field. A small, innocent, football is placed on the centre spot between them and the starting whistle is blown... the game of Blood Bowl is about to begin!
Blood Bowl casts you in the role of a coach of one of these awe inspiring teams. Orcs, Humans, Dwarfs, Elves; all the major races of the Known World (and most of the minor races too) have teams of mighty warriors who battle in great arenas for their people's honour, pride and the sheer unmitigated hell of it!

The Rulebook:
The rules are divided into Basic and Veteran Rules. Veteran Rules are all optional and expand on the game play of the Basic Rules. Veteran Rules cover the following areas:
