Dragonfire is a cooperative deck-building game set within the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Equipped with weapons, spells, and magic items, players begin their adventure along the famed Sword Coast, then expand to other locales across the Forgotten Realms, such as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, and Waterdeep in future expansions. Eclipse Phase

       

Eclipse Phase is an RPG set in Earth's far distant future, when humanity has achieved immortality by abandoning the need for physical bodies and transforming brain patterns into digital information. As a result, characters can change their bodies at will and always have a "backup copy" ready to deploy in case of "death." The game uses a percentile system and has no set classes, allowing customization based on skills, including psionic abilities.

Building on the award-winning Shadowrun, Fourth Edition rule set, the new edition brings the game forward while preserving the fun that has made it so enduring.
Highlights of the new edition include:
• Grittier & Deadlier: The down-and-dirty Sixth World setting is a place where shadowrunners need to count their bullets carefully and be cautious about whom they trust. Fifth Edition rules reflect that, making players aware of their choices and the price they have to pay to be the best. It also supports deadlier combat, while still making sure the player characters can stay alive long enough to take care of business.
• Streamlined Matrix: Matrix rules have been improved and streamlined, bringing them more in line with the rest of the game and making them more intuitive. Running the Matrix has never been easier.

Shadowrun Novels

       

FASA published the original trade paperback through Contemporary Books. All subsequent novels were published by ROC, 40 with FASA (1990–2001), and six with WizKids (circa 2006). When the FASA era novels were re-released in 2003 the ISBNs were updated to include FASA's four digit SKU (ISBN ×-×××-×FFFF-×), prior to this the FASA SKU and ISBN were generally unrelated. The six novels produced by WizKids circa 2006 were loosely linked to Shadowrun Duels.

Alongside translations of the English-language novels and RPG books, German publishers Heyne and Fantasy Productions put out a number of original German-language novels, written exclusively by German authors and also set in Germany. Even after publication of English-language novels stopped in 2001 both publishers continued to put out original novels in Germany until license shifts occurred in 2008.

   

SHADOWRUN, SIXTH WORLD

       

Shadowrun, Sixth World is the latest edition of one of the most popular roleplaying games of all time.
The new edition is easier to play and learn than it has ever been, yet it still offers the roleplaying depth that is a key part of the Shadowrun experience.
The rule system is built around gaining advantages and taking risks, building up to spectacular moments that are part of great gaming sessions!

Faster gameplay and conflict resolution keep the game moving and plunge players ever-deeper into Sixth World intrigue.

Shadowrun: The Games

       

Co-operative play encourages or requires players to work together to beat the game. There is little or no competition between players. Either the players win the game by reaching a pre-determined objective, or all players lose the game, often by not reaching the objective before a certain event happens.

The Duke

       

Levy. Maneuver. Conquer.

The Duke is a dynamic, tile-based strategy game with an old-world, feudal theme, high-quality wooden playing pieces, and an innovative game mechanism in its double-sided tiles. Each side represents a different posture – often considered to be defensive or offensive – and demonstrates exactly what the piece can do within the turn. At the end of a move (or after the use of a special ability), the tile is flipped to its other side, displaying a new offensive or defensive posture.

Each posture conveys different options for maneuver and attack. The full circle is a standard Move, the hollow circle the Jump, the arrow provides for the Slide, the star a special Strike ability and so on. Each turn a player may select any tile to maneuver, attempting to defend his own troops while positioning himself to capture his opponent's tiles. If you end your movement in a square occupied by an opponent's tile, you capture that tile. Capture your opponent's Duke to win!

Players start the game by placing their Duke in one of the two middle squares on their side of the game board. Two Footman are then placed next to the Duke. Each turn a player may choose to either move a single tile or randomly draw a new tile from the bag. With twelve different Troop Tiles, all double-sided, and sixteen total pieces for each player, the variety of game play is limitless.

Beyond the endless variety of the basic game, Terrain Tiles introduce a variety of game play options, altering the game board. These rules also include several alternate objectives, such as the challenging Dark Rider game which pits five Pikeman against a lone Knight.
