Aquelarre RPG

Carts full of corpses slide through the muddy streets of a deserted city. Monks copy manuscripts silently in their cold monastery rooms. A hammer falls again and again on glowing red metal in a blacksmith shop. Fragrant flowers perfume private courtyard gardens. Grim and silent soldiers march the dusty roads in search of enemies, both infidel or faithful. This is the world of the Middle Ages, which our ancestors knew, and which shaped our present.

But beyond this human world, in the most shadowy depths of the woods, in the loneliest cave, in the most obscure cell, in the dimmest chambers of the human heart, legends live. Here, demons haunt castles, elves skulk in the forest, alchemists concoct spells, and witches laugh and laugh around their campfire in a forest clearing bathed in moonlight, as the demon sitting among them raises his goatish head and grins, directly at you, dear reader, saying, "Welcome to the aquelarre; welcome to the coven."

Basic Role Playing

In 1978, Chaosium first used the Basic Role Playing d100 system as RuneQuest explored the world of Glorantha. In the years following, they adapted this system to other worlds including Elfquest, Stormbringer, Call of Cthulhu, Ringworld, Superworld, Worlds of Wonder, Nephilim, and more. Scaled to allow for any sort of campaign or game setting, Chaosium now introduces Basic Role Playing as a stand-alone game system.

Call of Cthulhu RPG

The Old Ones ruled the earth aeons before the rise of man. Traces of their cyclopean cities can still be found on remote islands, buried amid the shifting desert sands, and in the frozen wastes of the polar extremes. Originally they came to this world from the stars. They sleep now, some deep within the earth or beneath the sea. When the stars are right they shall again walk the earth.
Call of Cthulhu is a tabletop roleplaying game based upon the worlds of H. P. Lovecraft. It is a game of secrets, mysteries, and horror. Playing the role of steadfast investigators, you travel to strange and dangerous places, uncover foul plots, and stand against the terrors of the Cthulhu Mythos. You encounter sanity-blasting entities, monsters, and insane cultists. Within strange and forgotten tomes of lore you discover revelations that man was not meant to know. You and your companions may very well decide the fate of the world.

Nephilim

Once upon a time, Chaosium translated a French RPG in which history was an Illusion and Science was a lie. The Nephilim are awakening and the world finds itself on the edge of a precipice. Can the Nephilim survive the secret societies that wage war against them and seize their ultimate destiny of Agartha? Or will they continue to undermine one another and fall one by one to those who would enslave them? The Nephilim RPG is not currently supported by Chaosium. But one never can tell what is happening in the shadows or the future will bring.

Würm RPG Roleplaying in the Ice Age

Adventure into the prehistoric past of our own world. In this long-forgotten time, many powerful creatures roamed a vast territory covered in steppes and taiga, reaching from the white mountains to the raging sea: mammoths, aurochs, bison, giant deer, cave bears and cave lions. Among these huge creatures, two species of humans live in small communities of hunter-gatherers: the robust Bear Men (Neanderthals) and the taller Long Men (Cro-Magnon, or Cavemen).

During your adventures, whether simply surviving or going on perilous hunts or legendary quests, your characters will gain strength, wisdom and prestige by exploring unknown territories, daring to enter the darkness of mysterious caves, seeking out the powers of ancient spirits, or challenging the creatures of the night.

All the rules you need to play Würm are included in the core rulebook, detailed over nine chapters. These rules were designed to be simple and clear. For the most part, they only require a few 6-sided dice. Characters develop through a number of Strengths and Weaknesses that are connected to specific totems. Additionally, Talents and Secret techniques represent the abilities that a character may learn, such as painting, shamanism or certain combat techniques.

Developed to be as close as possible to established archeological sources, the world of Würm also leaves room for a touch of fantasy and adventure. You will find rules for playing with the real powers of totem spirits, as well as a whole range of fantastical creatures living along-side the mammoths and the cave bears, such as fire spirits, witches and glacier giants.

The core rulebook includes four introduction scenarios, including one to introduce younger players to the game. English edition of the French RPG.
