Produktbeschreibung
Manoeuvrability and speed allowed this vehicle to recon deep into enmey territory and wreak havoc behind the lines before disappearing again.
The Humber armoured car series was based on the Quad artillery tractor chassis. It was a basic, but robust, 4x4 design that proved a capable and reliable vehicle. The MK II was fitted with a two-man turret like that of the Humber Mk I. It had a top speed of 45 m.p.h.
It was armed with a .303" machine-gun and a 15mm heavy machine-gun, both mounted in the turret.
It had 14mm of frontal armour and weighed 7 tonnes.
The Humber Mk II in Flames of War -
The Humber Mk IIs are an option for the new Armoured Car Squadron in Desert Rats. You can now field a whole force of reconnaissance troops, making them tricky opponents to come to grips with.
The 15mm tank gun of the Humber Mk II gives it enough punch to deter curious enemy recon platoons, but not too much so they get themselves in trouble.
Their light armour gives them little protection from medium to heavy weapons (Front 1, Side 0 and Top 1), so caution is the key. |
