The Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition Game System License (D&D 4E GSL) is a license that allows third parties to use certain intellectual property owned by Wizards of the Coast with the company's permission in order to create products compatible with the 4th Edition of the Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game.

The System Reference Document (SRD) is a reference document detailing Terms, Tables and Templates that are available for license under the GSL. The SRD is an appendix to the GSL.


5e Compatible


This RPG designates products which are advertised as being compatible with Dungeons & Dragons (5th Edition) but are not officially licensed by Wizards of the Coast and thus do not use the "Dungeons & Dragons" name. Such products typically state that they are intended for use with "Fifth Edition" or "5e".


Advanced Dungeons & Dragons


This version of Dungeons and Dragons was authored by Gary Gygax between 1977 and 1979 as a complete rewrite of the full set of the original Dungeons and Dragons rules, with an eye towards resolving inconsistencies and presenting a canonical form of the game.

Called Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, or AD&D, it is now commonly called "1st Edition".

Published a decade after the first edition of AD&D, this second edition of the rules was a streamlining and re-presentation of the first edition. While different in many places, the core game play was little touched, so that the system is highly compatible with the previous edition.




Battletech CCG


Settted in the Battltech universe, this collectible card game deals with big mechs; the goal is to hit opponent's bases and therefore "scrapping" his card (discarding cards from the deck). Once a player's deck runs out of cards, he loses.

Each Dungeon Command faction comes in its own box, containing twelve miniatures (plus the cards, tiles, and rules for the game). In addition to their use in Dungeon Command, these miniatures can also be used in the D&D RPG, with their cards further usable with D&D Adventure System board games (Castle Ravenloft, Wrath of Ashardalon, and The Legend of Drizzt). While each faction is meant to be played by a single player, quick-start rules allow two players to engage in a shortened version of the game using only one box.

Key Game Play Feature

Hecatomb cards are five-sided, with a clear edge on four out of the five sides. Players stack cards on top of each other, turning individual creatures (cards) into hybrid abominations. An abomination uses the power and special abilities of all the creatures used to assemble it. The clear edges allow players to see the power scores and abilities of up to 5 cards stacked together.

Players combine their creatures in the most effective ways they can, then use the resulting abominations to steal the opponents' points ("reap souls"). Once a player has built up his power base, he can end the world.

Who Do the Players of Hecatomb Represent?

No mere ghosts in the machine, the players of Hecatomb are active participants in the world's demise. Sometimes referred to as "endbringers," each player wields power in some measure.

To some players, antediluvian promises have been revealed: to he who can obliterate the universe, divine power is bequeathed, enough to recast existence in his own image. To this end, players need to tap the power of ancient gods of destruction, flirting with personal obliteration all the while.

Other endbringers are but thralls to the evil gods they worship, mere servants to corrupt gods who desire their own ends. And some players are maniacs who wish to usher in Armageddon because they are compelled by their own wrecked minds.

What Is the Conflict Between Players?

The players fight each other for the right to bring down the final curtain. The player who wins the fight is the endbringer in truth. Each player, as a master of evil in his or her own right, schemes and directs his strategy from a core fortress, secret base, laboratory, dark cathedral, or other individual base of operations.

If a would-be endbringer wishes to blot out a world, he must assemble a cult of true believers whose two most important attributes are their belief and their souls. Given enough time, an endbringer could gradually accumulate enough true believers (and their resident soul energy) to bring about the final dissolution. However, other players seek to do the same, and do it first.

True believers (or, at least their souls) can be stolen from another player, or more accurately, reaped. The player who first breaches a critical threshold number of gathered and reaped souls finally gains enough energy to catalyze the apocalypse.
