Each Mighty Armies contains a complete army of 40-50 Super-Size 15mm miniatures, rulebook, dice and measuring aid - in fact, everything you need to begin wargmaing in one easy to use package!
Mighty Armies is a fast to learn game of great tactical depth. You will be playing within ten minutes of reading the rules and your first game will take less than half an hour - but Mighty Armies will take many months to truly master.
Each Mighty Armies box set contains a complete army but it is also upgradeable with forthcoming blister packs to give you even more tactical options.
The Undead army contains a Necromancer, 19 Undead Warriors, 16 Wights, 8 Spectres, 8 Death Knights, ready to rise up in their master's name.
Throughout the civilised nations, there can be no army so feared as that of the Necromancer and his mighty undead. From shambling Undead Warriors, recently risen from the grave, to the implacable Death Knights, warriors laid to rest long ago, these forces of death are unnerving to fight against.
A Necromancer can always be sure his troops will do exactly as he instructs and will never face the indignity of seeing his own units flee in terror. However, the strength of his entire army rests upon his skill in raising the dead and in sufficient numbers to block the advance of an enemy. The Undead army is like no other in Mighty Armies and takes a great deal of skill to master!
For those who are already skillful in the use of the dead as a weapon, your army can be expanded yet further. Mounted Death Knights retain all the superb combat capabilities of their infantry counterparts but have a good turn of speed that can surprise any enemy. If that is not enough to bring you continued victories, it may be worth looking at the Death Giant, a mighty construction that will stretch your Necromancer's knowledge to the very edge of its limits and yet provide a creature that can easily go toe-to-toe with Mamoths and Hydras. |
