Produktbeschreibung
Take command of Japanese and Allied forces during the crucial years of the War in the Pacific. Maneuver naval, air and land forces from Japan to Ceylon and the West Coast of the United States. Three interactive naval/air rounds per monthly game turn recreate the excitement of fast carrier operations. Playing pieces represent American, Japanese, Commonwealth, Dutch, and Filipino land, naval and air units.
* Naval units represent individual capital ships or multiples of other ships.
* Land units are divisions and smaller.
* Air units are air points representing ten aircraft each.
The original Carrier War was a great success. Now the game system has been improved and all components of the game completely reworked. The rules and reference booklets are much improved and in our new 3000 Line formats. Color play aid cards incorporate rules summaries to ease learning the game and speed play. The new map extends from Hawaii to the west coast. Air and land unit headquarters minimize the number of counters in a hex. Scenarios cover individual campaigns or the complete war through April 1944. (On To Japan, a companion game, will extend Carrier War to the end of the war.) This two player game is highly playable solitaire or by three or more players.
