In Field Command, two players each take charge of a group of three dozen or so armies. There are three ranks of army men, noted by either a triangle, circle, or hexagon base. Those ranks also are rated by the type of terrain which they stand on. Each player can move up to ten armies each turn, and writes those movements down. Conflicting armies on the same square do battle, in rock-paper-scissors style, and the loser is dead. The first to take over the enemy camp wins. |
